Museum Mile is a long stretch along Fifth Avenue chock full of museums and other fine art institutions. While in the city, even if for a short stay and need to cram in lots of sightseeing, Museum Mile is a must. Not to mention the tree lined walk down the side of Central Park is also a nice treat.

Central Park
Take a stroll in the park after doing some shopping at The Shops At Columbus Circle or burn a few calories after dining at restaurants near the parks entrance on 59th Street and 5th Avenue such as Nobu Fifty-Seven and Harry Cipriani. Regardless of what you're doing, Central Park in the autumn is a must, if not only for the foliage. There are several lakes, ponds, extensive walking tracks, bridle paths, ice skating rinks, the Central Park Zoo, the Central Park Conservatory Garden, a wildlife sanctuary, outdoor amphitheater, etc.
